Bessa 3A infinity focus

When focusing my Bessa 3A on infinity the split images do not merge. Does this this mean that the focus is out at other distances ? The split images overlap about 50 %. Can I adjust the rangefinder myself , if not any reconmendations ?

Are you sure that it's the body at fault? What lens is fitted? Do any other lenses give the same error?
