I was wondering if there is a way to get a canon lens on a bessa body. I really have an infatuation with the lens for the canon 7s. Its probably a stupid question though.

Depends on what lens. If it's a screwmount Bessa body, it will work. If it's an M-mount Bessa body, you'll need an adapter. If you're talking about the 50/.95, you need a heck of a lot more than an adapter. We need more information.

Ya, I'm talking about the 50/.95. I wasn't exactly sure what it was called though. Figures, but it would be neat though.

The 50/.95 was made for the Canon 7 and has a special mount...so it takes a bit of work to get it to mount to other cameras. It's doable, but you can get a Canon 7 to use it with for the money you'd pay to have it converted.
