bessa double folding rewind crank

last time i played with an r3a, i distinctly remember that it had a double folding rewind crank like the one that would eventually be pictured on the r3m/r2m page. i don't remember ever seeing one with a hole in the middle like on the r3a/r2a page. i see that the gray bessas also have a double folding crank.

does your r3a/r2a have a double folding crank? at what serial # did this change happen? or am i crazy and there never was an r3a with a double folding crank.

My R2a has the rewind crank with the hole in the middle - I guess it's not a double folding crank and I do like mine. I don't have the camera with me right now but I'll try and post the serial number to give you an idea of what the range might be...

I also noticed that on Gandy's R2a/R3a page both types of cranks are shown.

My black R3A has the single-hinged lever on the rewind. It is an earlier one, I believe (I've had it for about 18 months). My understanding is that the double-hinged one allows the rewind knob to spin freely when the crank is in the folded position.
