Bessa III has arrived!

By the way, can anyone tell me whether or not the Bessa III will be available for some more time? Like a year or so??

At the rate the camera is selling I doubt it will be available after this year but there is always the second hand market, that’s if anybody wants to sell this camera.

I'm hoping there will be another model in the works with a wide angle lens.......

Practice loading a reel in daylight with a roll of (preferably expired) film until you get the hang of it.

Practice is the answer, I normall to between 12 to 16 roll's of 120 at a time.

I've used the plastic reel's (AP type), they are ok but Ned to be kept clean and dry. Now I'm using Hewes SS reels, these are easy to clean and quick to dry but there is a knack to loading them.

Tried one at a local store today and all I can say is WOW! It's a beautiful piece of equipment. That shutter really is QUIET! About as loud as a Rollei 35.

One thing I wouldn't mind is if there was a sort of accessory grip that one could get for the camera. The one I tried didn't have a strap so I was constantly worried that I would drop it.

Anyways, it's pretty much decided. The Hasselblad is going up for sale and I'm getting one of these.
