Bessa L and 25mm lens

well I got one off ebay [actually from an RFF member😱 ]

My thought was "the price is right" and "I am also a collector so..."

I put my CV 25mm lens [another GAS attack of no reasonable meaning🙄 ]

Ok, the combo is nice, set the f16 ish, speed to the center light, focus infinity at the f16 then shoot away.

I have found my daily driving camera. the vibrations of the road won't screw up the viewfinder/focus [both of my Bessa Rs had this issue, one used off ebay arrived horizontal off and my new one aquired it later on🙁 ]

and I thought it was gonna just sit on the shelf and look pretty😀

A Bessa L as a shelf queen? No way... Before you know it, you will be putting it in the bag before your normal daily camera. I only have a CV 15/4.5 to use with it & had to make a conscious decision that while it was fun, it wasn't a daily shooter 😉

Dan, the 25/4 is an excellent lens and paired with the L it makes for a versatile and rugged kit. You might not believe it right now but the odds are that you will find many, many uses for this combo. It's so much fun to use that you will have trouble putting it down.

The L + 25/4 is how I learned to stop worrying and embrace scale focus. That little camera changed the way I shoot. I love my L so much that I am putting my R up for sale.

Chris, well I cannot sell my R😱 but it will spend it's time on the shelf My R2 is my main going just to shoot camera, at least until my R4M arrives.
