My bessa with its soulmate, the 50mm nokton. The redheaded stepchild (yashica-d) can be seen in the background.
Now that I have a dSLR, I'm gonna have to make a lightbox and make some real (camera) porn!

Griz...

Sorry about the crappy pic. My cat knocked over my light stand before I shot this. After I chased her around the house for 20 minutes I just shot this with a lamp to the left of the table. You get the idea. Anyone want a cat? I did catch the stand but the adjustment screw broke off of my old Smith Victor light so now I can't lock it in place....
I would really love to add a Bessa T to this family....
Anyway we have from the left:
CV 75/2.5 Color-Heliar
Bessa R W/ Gordy strap and Jupiter-3 50/1.5
CV 25/4 Snapshot-Skoper w/ Finder
Canon 100/4 Serenar
Bessa L W/ CV 15/4.5 Super Wide-Heliar and finder
CV 35/1.7 Ultron W/ Leica hood
Not pictured: Jupiter-9 85/2 and turret finder....

How well does the Luigi case fit with the rise on the back door of the R2A? Is the Luigi case sculpted to accept this rise?

Great question which, for once, I actually have an answer for. When I first tried fitting the camera into the case the snaps would not close. I could close one side or the other but not both. I was going to contact Luigi thinking I got a bum case but realized that, like a new pair of fine leather shoes, I probably had to work it in a little bit.
I took the camera out, put it back in and attempted to snap the snaps. After repeating these steps the snaps now click in perfectly and fit like a glove.
Now to answer your question. Initially I was a little disappointed that the case was NOT made to conform to that bump on the back of the camera. Using the same principle of working in a new shoe I wound a thick elastic band tightly from top to bottom at the short end of the bump and let it sit overnight for a few nights
Now the leather fits the entire camera perfectly.
It really is a nice case. A friend has two of the premium cases for his M's and there is a noticeable difference. I wasn't going to invest in a premium case that would cost close to what I paid for my Bessa, though.

Thanks! I'm super excited about it. I really want the 35 2.5 lens now. Hoping to order it by the end of the week.

Dove, i saw that on your flickr last night.
You have an unreasonable amount of equipment! xD
Speaking of which, i meant to ask you how you managed to mount a planar on your Pentacon six. Really wish to try some crazy bokeh because i can't afford a 0.95 or noct

hey mate, I like cameras themselves as much as using them. But my collection is still very minimal. If you are refering to the closeup shots of the contax 645 f2 planar on P6, I handheld hence it can only do closeup. there is no contax lens to another body mount yet.

I took this with the intention of putting it up on here later under the classifieds.
Sadly every time I look at the photo, I just can't bring myself to do it.
Then some friends asked me about it and I looked at some of the photos I took with it and realised how much I liked it even more.
Ahhh. I can't afford this.

My R3A with the new 15mm f/4.5. Kind of a sterile photo but I'll try to do something more artsy when the mood strikes.
