That is a handsome combination! I've not seen the body and the collapsible heliar 2/50 in silver before. I have the same set in black but this looks much nicer.

Bessa R2 + Bessa R3A + Bessa R4A with my LTM and M Voigtlander lenses. Plus a Canon P with Canon 50/1.5.

A wonderful set of cameras - all very desirable in their own way.

I'm very content with my Bessa R. However, if there's one other RF camera that has intrigued me over the years, it's the Canon P.

The P is a great camera, much smoother in operation than the Bessas. The feeling is night and day. It would make a nice pair with your R, perhaps for using in foul weather since there are no electronics to worry about. That's how I use my P 🙂

That's a nice one, with the silver dials. Is it a special edition somehow? Normal Bessa L's all seem to have black plastic dials. Are the shells made of metal too?
