Bessa Porn?

chrome on black looks supreme.

Have to agree with that!

I quite like black cameras but don't really prefer them to chrome or silver ... a black lens on a black camera is just plain too much black for me ... but silver cameras with chrome lenses look classy and chrome lenses on black cameras also look very good. :)

I'm partial to chrome-on-black myself. Bessa T with Elmar 50/3.5:

I understand taping a Leica but not so sure about taping a Bessa. Don't you tape a Leica so no one thinks it's a Leica? So do you tape a Bessa so that people think it's a Leica pretending not to be a Leica?

no one that would recognize a Leica would have doubts on a CV not being a Leica

it's more about not sponsoring anyone and giving the thing a "used and rough" look, they simply look more like a tool to outside viewers

Not quiet sure why I've not posted anything here yet. So, to rectify that, here is what I'm using today:
Bessa R, Jupiter-11, vintage 40.5mm tele-hood.

That's a gorgeous anachronism. A camera made in the last decade with parts from another era making it look like a 1950's view of a camera from the future.

As I promised, here are some pics of my "dressed" bessa.
