Diapers 'n Film
Hi, all
Just got my ebay besssa r, and don't you know it, the rf is out of horizontal alignment. I read the how to online to fix it, but have to get a small enough philips screw driver not to mess it up. The puzzling part is that at near focus, using the 35 skopar, there's a part at the end where the lens doesn't move the rf anymore. I cross checked it w a zorki, and the lens didn't have the problem there. I also mounted a j8 on the bessa, and not only is there no dead area in the near range, it also focuses accurately, at least accordingg to the lens markings (I haven't deved the film, just compared the distance scale w that of a working slr.) As soon as I get the right screwdrver, I'll adjust the rf to match the 35 skopar, but wanted to know what you all think of this situation. TIA,
GBB
