Bessa R - Measurements?

Hi,

Anyone could check their Bessa and tell me what is the size in mm of the vertical width of the film plane. I mean, the 35mm film passes, but is there some room at the top and bottom? Like 40mm in total? Would it be less? Anyone could check?

The total width outside the film guides is 43.8 mm on my Bessa R. At the top, the space betweet the rail and chamber edge is 1.0 mm. At the bottom, there is a space of about 5.6mm.
