Thanks for sharing. The Bessa R is a wondeful all mechanical camera. I can see it is serving you well.
Can I ask why you are pusing BMP files in your post? I think JPEG would be smaller and better plus you get little thumbnails of the photos in your post.

That is exactly what I want to do. This is my first time posting pictures. I am using irfanview and I could not figure out how to get the thumbnails and JPEGs.
Thanks, I am a computer analyst so I should be able to figure this stuff out!! BTW, nice picture of the black lab. We have a chocolate lab....I am still trying to get a good photo of him.
Thank you. I used a Cannon Rebel 35 mm before the Bessa R. I gave up on it because it was difficult to use all of the automation and then the kit lens broke. I really like the RFF because it is so easy to use. Focus, set aperture and shutter speed, and shoot.

I understand you, it happended quite the same to me. I had a nikon f55 but it was too complicated to be used in manual mode and with autofocus and priority i did not have the control I wanted on the shot; furthermore it had a kit lens (a zoom 28/80) that was too slow for my tastes. So i decided to buy the bessaR+nokton 50. Now I'm happy. I still shot the same poor stuff but i'm very happy with it!🙂
Ciao
