Scroll down to the eyecups and see the EC-7, a replacement for the no longer produced 2939. I have a 2939 on my R and it's so much better than naked.

The 2939 and now the EC-7 both are D shaped so the bottom of the cup does not block the film door. Worth the six dollars!

Also they have some generic soft shutter release things for 1.99..

Link works for me, however I am already using the cheaper and easier-to-find Nikon DK-10 on my R. Works great.

Will these fit an R2A?

These fit only the rectangular rear windows. A visit to the Nikon dealer with the r2a in hand may yield a cup to screw into the round ones.
Glad to hear the DK-10 works too on the R/R2, the Nikon dealer lost his patience with me after the first four random ones I tried in the store (say, why don't you try an eyecup from a Voightlaender dealer?), so I found out about the 2939 and took a swim in thebay.

Stephen Gandy has the round type for the R2A and R3A at www.cameraquest.com. I lost mine after a few weeks and ended up getting one and a spare from Stephen.

Just ordered two EC-7's for my two Bessa R's.
They feel so much better about being covered up.

The two Nikon EC-7 eyecups arrived today, and fit perfectly onto the Bessa-R eyepieces. Views looks great through the cameras. I'd recommend these to anybody with a Bessa-R.
