Bessa R rf adjust.

Hi, my new (used) Bessa R is a little off in the horizontal at infinity. The coincident images pass each other a little. A search here and on the net shows that the adjustment is made under the hot shoe. How does the black plastic insert come out? I have no wish to savage it or to scratch it. Looks like it lifts up in the forward centre to clear the metal contact and withdraws towards the back of the camera, would this be the way?

Yup, you're right. Use toothpick...

There was once a nice tutorial how to do it, but it disapperared from the web.. 🙁

Then you'll find the hot shoe fixed with 3 screws, one is different than the 2 remaining...
