bessa r2 meter ir sensitivity

hi i plan to take some ir photos on an upcoming trip of anglesey will probably be using a cheap 720nm filter, will i be okay trusting the internal meter readings or should i pick up a hand held meter. any comments on the various rollei ir esq films vs sfx also welcome
