Hello, I wonder if you guys can help with a problem with my Bessa R2A.

Basically I've noticed over the past two rolls the shutter button hasn't behaved correctly. I'd take the shot, wind the film on then switch the camera off until the next shot came along, when I turned the camera back it it wouldn't fire until I wound it on again. At first I thought it was just me forgetting to wind the film on after I'd taken the shot but it happened on a few occasions yesterday. I removed the film and tested with another film, and also tested in manual using all shutter speeds, everything seemed fine.

I did a bit more investigation tonight though and it seems when you take a shot if you wind the lever quite firmly you hear this re-assuring snap and feel it clicking into place, it works fine. If you wind the lever quite gently and not as firmly, imagine you are trying to make very little noise! it doesn't seem to click right, and you are unable to fire the shutter, at this point just nudging the lever slightly frees up the shutter button again, as if it is being triggered on but I can feel very little play in the flim advance lever at all when I do this.

Has anyone ever experienced this before? I'm baffled as to what it is.
