Hi All,

I am curious as to how the Bessa R2A viewfinder frames compare to the .72 M camera frames. How do these cameras compare when looking at 35mm framelines? Is it easier to see them on the M or on the R2A? I am mostly interested in the amount of space around the 35mm frame without moving your eye around.

introducing the rff demo rental program! you send a deposit, we ship you whatever (insured), then you send it back after a week (insured). taking orders now!

yeah, that would be awesome.

Hi Chuck,

I have no R2a and do not wear glasses. But: I have used an R2 with 28mm and have an M6 and an R3a. The M6 28mm framelines are about as close to
the viewfinder borders as the 40mm framelines on the R3a. The R2 full viewfinder worked well with 28mm. Also, I did measure both M6 and R2 35mm framelines, at 3m the R2 35mm framelines match a 40mm lens very well while the M6 35mm framelines cover more area.

Hope this helps,

Roland.

THis is very helpful Roland, thank you. Exactly what I was looking for.
