Hello all,
first (of what i hope to be many) posts here on the forum. I've been lurking for some time.
I was hoping to get some opinions on a camera i have the opportunity to buy.
I've got the opportunity to pick up the Bessa R2M that is used but in Minty condition with the 50mm f2 Heliar lens. They are asking $700 for it. My gut reaction is that this is a good deal, but i was hoping to get opinions from the group here. Is that a decent deal? Highway robbery? somewhere in between?
I realize that its not a Leica, i'm not expecting it to be. I'm looking at this camera as a way to get into the M mount system.
Currently I own a canonet QL17 GIII.

Yeah, thats what my line of thinking was as well.
i was already about 99% on pulling the trigger, just went ahead and did.
