The R4M has another viewfinder magnification, more apt for wide-angle lenses (from to 21mm to 50mm framelines in the viewfinder), the R2M has from 35mm to 90mm framelines).

R4M has the super wide finder for 21/25/35/50 or whatever lines.

The R4m also has a solo 28 frameline setting, which is why a lot of people buy this camera.

The R4x is the best rangefinder for wide angle lenses ever. The R2x is a pretty decent alternative to it's more expensive counterparts.
