Bessa R3A Discontinued?

I wondered if the R3A was really discontinued, or if it was perhaps just a certain colour or earlier version. Anyone know?

The Gray Voigtlander Bessa R2A and R3A are discontinued, and sold out at the factory. Some dealers still have stock on hand.

The Black versions of both cameras remain in production.

It seems the bessa R3A Black Body is on the list of Discontinued items on that site.

I'd be very surprised if the black goes. This would signal the end of R2A and R4A's. More likely the R2A 250.

not exactly.
the list is referring to the 1st version black R3A,
identifiable by a "splatter paint" finish and all gray shutter.

It was replaced by the current matte black finish with an improved rewind lever and a black / gray shutter which gives more of a centerweighted meter reading.
