Bessa R3A meter problem

I found that the meter speed of Bessa R3A is sometimes extremely slow.

For example, after i half-press the shutter for metering, the camera meter properly. However, when i meter after a few second, there is no metering single in the screen.
The meter screen do appear aftern i keeping half-pressing the shutter for more than 30 seconds.

Do u guys have the same problem?

I have a problem that... bessa just "remembers" old metered value and doesn't re-meter when used A-mode (no I am not touching lock in any way). Since then I am picking shutter speed manually and have no probs (also I learnt more about light that way)
