Bessa shutter issue temporary fix

If any one has had the bessa shutter issue where the film advance automatically takes the exposure, I temporarily (fingers crossed) fixed it.

I removed the baseplate (which is about as rugged as balsa wood), sprayed some canned air, made sure all the internal screws were tight, and literally kind of poked around the gears and shutter mechanism with a micro screwdriver. Now it doesn't have the problem.

bit of a piece o' crap. Same shutter as Zeiss yeah? I'm starting to appreciate the simplicity of a single cloth shutter.
 
Unlucky I guess, I have not had that problem with R2 or R3

Super reliable camera, still my favourite because of the beautifully bright viewfinder.

Be nice if it had a cloth shutter, thats my only complaint, but my IIIc is not really that much quieter.
