Bessa/Summicron Compatibility

I just bought a Summicron 35mm 4th Gen and discovered that it doesn't fit the Bessa-T. Not the end of the world as I was seriously considering the purchase of a 2A but, now the big question, will it be incompatible with that also?

FWIW, I use a 1957 Summicron-50 rigid on my R3A. No problems there. I've seen lots of Voigtlander glass on Leicas. Where is the problem on the Bessa-T?

My 4th gen will not mount in the infinity position or focus to infinity -- it's because the helical mount is too wide (the M mount is the same, of course). See near the bottom of http://www.cameraquest.com/VCBT.htm -- it's described as being incompatible 🙁

Keep the lens, it is wonderful.

My 4th 35 Summi worked well on my R2, both R2s that I had in fact.
