I'm assuming all the images here now have new addresses after being migrated to the "new" Gallery. Maybe Jorge knows a way to determine what those new addresses are. It's a shame. This was a really superb compilation that came together over a long period and from many contributors.
Maybe it's only temporarily lost. Fingers crossed.

Yeap, I had to write a program to do the relinking. Looks like they are back now.

I caught this one when it passed by the "window" again, and posted a comment I believe, -- excellent image, terrific technique, subject, the light is right-- and the eye is right.

I feel a need to comment on this, it sort of falls outside what I usually tend to like, it's not B&W, it's not a great color shot, and it's shot from the back. However in defense of it, there is a very tender feeling to it, the older couple hand in hand, heads cocked in the same direction, in lock step, assistance needed with the cane, and metaphorically speaking still advancing through time together.
So, shooting from the back really works, in B&W the woman would be lost in the background of cafe, and feeling is the trump card. I'm surprised this didn't get any comments when it was first posted.

You nailed it Richard, it has the "feel" and soul of a good image-- colors are just muted enough, IMO, not a shot everyone would see and make.
As to "no comments" -- so much is posted daily, there is only a small window for shots like these to fall through-- which is the value of this thread. There is a lot of images that might well not grab you in the thumb, even if you are stalking the gallery daily. How many views did this get?

I see this scene daily in the street, but as with all great photos, I feel as though I am seeing this tender exchange of affection for the first time.
