Best Place in North America for Buying a Fuji 6x9

Clearly some Japan eBay sellers lately overrate condition.
Read the description carefully and examine photos closely.

Be especially wary of evidence of rust and finish oxidation.
If it's rusty outside the internal working parts may be too.

Yup, as I mentioned my two mint/perfect GW690 IIIs had fungus and haze.

I did get a perfect Fuji TX-1 in a different transaction with a third seller, but my ebay Japan interactions have me batting at .333
So for me, I would not do it again unless I used a service like Bellamy/Japan Camera Hunter who will verify properly the condition of the camera before you get it. Problem is, that comes at a fee (understandable).

pretty much all of them have a 14 or 30 day return policy, so i would just order direct. bellamy is good for high ticket items like special edition leicas or olive paint canon f-1s but unnecessary for a fuji 6x9.

Keh

Keh

I put my vote in for KEH - I have bought 2 of the big Fujis over the years, first a GSW690 and then a GW690III. Both came in 72 hours and were as advertised upon arrival. No complaints from me. I have returned stuff to them over the years and never had a problems with the returns.

KEH has them in stock fairly often. I bought a BGN condition GW690II a few years ago from KEH for a very fair price. Despite the BGN rating, I would have given it a 9/10. Some incredibly minor cosmetic wear, spotless glass, it looks perfect.

I'd be hesitant to purchase from Japan after my last experience. It's a 6X9 Fuji. Looked good all around and the shutter seems to be OK as well but the bright line finder is almost gone on the left side. And the split focus screen is poor.

Wish I had bought from a US dealer.
