best reason to buy a Leica this season...

where's my checkbook??

I just realized that's our sponsor KB Camera.. they're really getting into the holiday spirit!

For the Leica or one of the cheeks? I'll take the brunette, thank you. 😀

Now if the auction included the brunette, then....

Reminds me somehow of an old joke....unfortunately it's not as funny unless you read it outloud:

An old man sits on his bed in the nursing home, thinking curmudgeonly thoughts about how the youth of today are corrupt, and the good old days of his childhood were so much better.

Suddenly, the most gorgeous young woman he has ever seen walks in the door and starts removing her clothes. She says, "I'm here to give you super sex!"

The man says "I'll take the soup, thank you."

Best reason to buy a Leica this season is the free Leicavit/winder offer. If you get really lucky on a price on eBay or elsewhere, you can get a U.S. Passport MP/M7 for about $300 more than what used M6TTLs are selling for these days if you sell the winder.

Do people really use those things? (the Leicavit/winders not the Brunettes or Blondes 😉 )

After considering my thread on ritual/aesthetics, I think I would shy away from anything the "old school" methods.

Just curious,
Dave

Dave people definitely use them (Leicavits), and some are remarkably skilled at it too. Personally I would find it very awkward to use because of my camera hold and I would be more interested in the motor drive. However I have to work really hard to think of an occasion in the last two years when I might have needed a motor.

At the bottom of the page it says "girls not included". Probably a shipping problem.
