I want to buy a scanner to digitalize my archive. Until now i have no idea which one will be the best in price and scan efficience.

Any ideas are welcome,

A little more specificity would help. What does your "archive" consist of? Slides and negs or prints or both? What size are the slides and negs?

Also, 35mm or larger?

Having said that, unless you want to get into really significant expense, the Nikon Coolscan series is about the only game in town for new purchase. The Minoltas are/were great, but they're essentially orphans now and support in the future may be uncertain.

Thank you for your answers.

Many of my pics are slides (10*15cm) and the biggest part are the negatives.

When you search in the net, you only get the response of the nikon scanners.
Are the scanners of minolta available anymore?

You should get the Epson V700 for the LF, and idally Nikon CS 9000 for the rest, unless you don't have any MF film, and in this case Nikon CS 5000 or IV ED would suffice for the 35mm. However, if you would be happy with max 4-6 times enlargements on prints, and screen vision for bigger sizes, you can just limit yourself to the Epson for everything.
