I'm shooting candids at a friend's wedding on Saturday and I'm going to shoot all B&W (and hopefully all by available light, so probably high ISO). I'd like to be able to simply give them the pictures with no post processing, so I'm wondering what you guys recommend for Edge Enhance and Contrast settings to yield the best B&W results?
Also, what about the monochrome filters? I'm not sure what the lighting (color temperature) will be so I thought I'd keep the R-D1 on Auto and use no filtering but it will all be portraits, so what about using the green filter?
Finally, if the light levels are really low, I'm going to use my SB800 flash (which works quite nicely for fill if you set the ISO 1 to 2 stops higher than the camera), but what white balance setting would you recommend? My intuition is to just keep it on Auto.
Any additional thoughts or tips would be appreciated.
