I found my old 3.2 MP Minolta Dimage today and it got me thinking about what were the best photos you've taken with a point and shoot that you would otherwise have missed?

Here are two of my favourites.

1. A very strange sky in Granada, Spain It didn't last long and I only had time for a couple of shots before the light went (Canon G7)

2. These clouds have formed above a huge brush fire in the Sierra Nevada near Granada (Minolta Dimage Xt)

Maybe not my best P&S shot but I like this one. My daughter before she throws a snowball at me. Contax T3 .

...among numerous others. Having a good p/s at hand, film or digital, is a nice idea.

I've given up on P&S's with 'advanced' features for one that's small enough to carry all the time. It seems a fair trade off...

I wish I traveled in more interesting places daily. I've gotten in the habit of taking a camera with me to and from work but haven't found a compelling shot yet. Thats what I get for three mile walk in the suburbs I suppose. :)
