Best way to use the 40/1.4 with an R4A?

Okay, maybe I shouldn't have gotten this lens in the first place since my camera doesn't have 40 framelines, but it was tiny and seemed really handy (and since one of my favorite RFs is the QL17, I'm quite fond of the 40mm focal length).

So what would you recommend? Use the 35 framelines and compose conservatively? Or use the 50, just to be sure?

Why not trade it for a R3a, or, as an alternative, trade 40 mm for 35 mm, which is a very similar build and to my taste a bit better picture.

Check it out! I do this by putting the cam on a tripod pointed at a wall 6-8 feet away, and sticking pieces of tape on the wall where the corners are in the finder, and taking a pic. You have to walk back and forth a bit, and there is a little inaccuracy depending where your eye is, but it'll show you what's up. I suspect your 35mm frameline will be pretty close...
