November is the 60th Anniversary of Nikon making cameras and selling them to public!
Inside sources are busy!! Apparently BIG news will be coming out to the Press this Month!
Sources claim Nikon was being nice and didn't want to rain on Leica's Photokina Parade.

I just bought a F100!

I look through the viewfinder and with manual focus it shows me with arrows which side to twist!

Anyway, i thought i share this because its Nikon-related.
 
I just applaud any camera maker that would release any new high end camera into the current economic situation. They need our prayers!
 
I do not think we will see any new camera this year - be it MX or a RF or.... there are usually so many leaks just before such a thing happens so it will probably not be this year. There are other rumors however which are more likely to happen linked to the event later this month - a new printer cooperation with HP and a new software tool somewhere in between PS and PSE in functionality which takes into account all the program settings on the camera end and which would position Nikon better in the software space... Who know.... Jon
 
I'm hoping it will be a toaster oven 'cause I've got all the cameras I need. But we do need a new toaster oven and Nikon makes really good stuff, so I hope that's what they bring out.
 
My guess is that it will be a new Coolpix camera phone! It will be called the "Nikoolphone". I hope they have a lime green-colored one in stock!

Lens shade wirh a handle. What a great idea!
I'm disappointed though, that they didn't bring out the Toaster Oven. I really coulda used a new one.
I'm gonna see if Canon brings one out, 'cause if they do, I might have to switch systems.
