I wouldn't worry about it. Don't lose sleep over it! It's fine!

It's OK. Mine does it a bit too - at wide-open it slides a fraction of an inch beyond the max aperture.

This is a 1957 Biogon 21f4.5. I tend to use it on Nikon S2's or S3's. Works well as the f4.5 kind of hides any "shift" in the focus from the Contax helicoil.
Kodak 5231 (+X moviestock) in Beutler 1:1:10 for 6 min.
Optically a great lens, the best you could find in the 60's and 70's. Almost perfectly rectilinear - only surpassed by the new 21f4.5 C Biogon in this aspect.
Ergonomically. it will drive you nuts. Heavy chrome, small, thin black numbers on the barrel - and even smaller numbers on the distance scale. No hood available - at least I have never seen one for the it. Not too much of a problem as it it isen't too flare-prone. Build quality second to none - and heavy!

You can practically count the threads in the man's shirt. Amazing depth and resolution and contrast and shaprness (in part due to the film stock?) (as well as to the skeeels of the photographer of course).
