Biogon 21/4.5 on a Leica If

Would a Contax 21/4.5 with a generic Contax RF to LTM adapter (external) mount successfully on a Leica If. I’m aware that there are special adapters to use, but given that a Leica If doesn’t have a rangefinder cam then there would be one less issue to worry about? Focusing won’t be an issue since I would most likely scale focus.

Interesting question. I suppose if it was an LTM adapter with external mount, it should work. But I'm just a pesky vicarious observer. Completely of no help....😎
