I'm at a loss.

Just got the Zeiss Biogon 35mm F2.0 and all I want is to protect it from sharp objects.

Which size UV filter do I have to buy? I went to the local camera store in Paris and they were dumb founded (yes, they are French).

Would a normal 43mm filter from Tiffen fit?

Since I will be in Liverpool over the weekend, do you think I can buy one at the local Jacobs?

Sorry about the questions, but I'm sick of pinching the lens cap off...

Just so UK and European members know, it's very difficult to get a 43mm anything in Europe. The best bet (or as I have done) is to go through Amazon.
Jacobs / Jessops didn't have anything with that size.

Robert White? ffordes? I know Peter White used to list them.

43mm B+W UV MRC. That's what I keep on 2 of my RF lenses. 39mm & 46mm on the rest.

I purchased all of my B+W MRC filters used at this and other forums and the Leica Users Group. I'm a very happy customer.
