Black and white developing combination?

I've decided to buy some Clayton F76, some Arista.edu Ultra 100 and 400, and some ROllei IR film to play with.

20 rolls from Arista will be cheap, easy to develop - and give me a low cost film to fine tune a consistent development process.

I only have one tank - but will be getting a multi-roll tank when I get some skills.

I hear you, and of course I like D-76, since it is the developer I have the most experience with. However, I know that every developer has strengths and weaknesses. You can often force your pet developer, whatever that might be, to do things it ordinarily is not good at, but often there is another that can do the same thing easily.

With that said, however - if all I could have for the rest of my life was one developer and one film combo - Tri-X and D-76 - if only because I know it best.

Ive always used Sprint with my TriX, but I just developed some Neopan 400 in Rodinal. now take into consideration I like grain and contrast, which is what you'll get. I posted about 5 new pics in my rff gallery that I used this combo for.

Arista stop
some brand of wash additive
some brand of photo flow
20 rolls of Artista.edu ultra 200
3 rolls of pan F for when i want to be picky
