Black and White paper help.

I have been recently using ilford multi grade but dissatisfied with the quality for a wall print. Thirty years ago they had Gallerie that was superb stuff.
Can anyone recommend some fine papers for me to look at. The multi grade just does not have any punch.......

Galerie is still available & fine stuff. Many people favour Ilford Warmtone FB multigrade.

try glossy Bergger VC-NB (neutral) fibre paper. Looks really nice and tones well in selenium.

Which " ilford multi grade"-paper are you using: RC or FB, glossy or matte?

Ilford has a myriad of paper options. As Deardorf38 said, The Ilford "Brown Box" paper (esp. the Warmtone Glossy FB) is pretty awesome. If you like it "contrasty" their new Ilford Classic FB Glossy is very nice, too.
