Black Fed 2 - Where?

I am looking for a black FED2. Preferably body only.
Does anyone have an idea where I might find one?
I have checked eBay and the adds on this site but to no avail.

I didn’t think they were ever made in black. You could always get a regular chrome one and strip and paint it yourself! I painted a fed 1 this way and a fed 2 should be easier to take apart.

I'll second that, they only started to appear after ebay appeared. Someone, somewhere is making them but mainly to sell as a USSR made Leica with or without the word "copy" in the description.

A pity they don't offer them as a repaint and as the original camera and include a full check and adjustment in the service because they are pleasant cameras if treated right.

There were a couple of black painted FED-2s on eBay in the past 3 years. I bought one in 2015.

I've bought one of his "colourful" cameras before and it came with holes on shutter curtains, even though it was listed as working and carefully checked. I think the outside is nicely done but the inside is not so.

You need to be careful with Russian repairs. Usually they are painted right over the chrome, and the black quickly flakes off.
