I just took 6 RAW pictures in a row, and the 4th picture was a solid black frame. The shutter fired, but no image was recorded. Given that the 3 previous pictures came out perfectly, I know that it wasn't user error. I waited for the buffer to complete, and as soon as it was flushed, I pressed the shutter button. No pic, just a solid black frame. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary; I just shot away as normal..
This is concerning, as I have over 5k+ pictures on this camera, and it just ran out of warranty two months ago.. It was my 3rd camera. Anyone else run into this? It could be the memory card, but it is relatively new. If it is the card, I'll begin to wonder if my r-d1 is eating SD cards, as I've gone through tons of them due to corruption & lost images. I've gone through multiple card readers too. I thought I finally solved the problem with a san disk reader and lexar 1gb cards...
