Black M3 & M2 bummer

i just checked craigslist(bay area) and saw someone had posted a black m3 and a black m2 with a 35mm summicron(8 element) along with a few other lenses for $1700. he posted it at 12:49 PM, i emailed him at 2:56PM and emailed me back that everything was already picked up and paid for.
bummer.
i was at the bank withdrawing $3000 and making arrangements for my wife to watch the store while i drove to palo alto.

Such things can happen. Maybe there was a reason for this to happen. You can always hope that it was a scam, and that you have escaped the scam. Oh well, what else could I say!
