Hei Peter, what's wrong with Forefox on my website? Firefox is my main browser and I do build my pages with Mozilla Editor. I didn't have any complaints except missing translations of certain pages (lazy, me)...
As for the black cameras. Some months ago there was a black Original Pentax in mint condition from Switzerland or so, sold for 850 USD. I was with it until 500 USD a few seconds before closing. After all, since the H2 isn't particulary rare, I wouldn't pay a big extra for a black one. I just have one black early Pentax, a Spotmatic.
Generally speaking, the whole H series is one of the most pleasent SLR to use for photog. that like meterless cameras. The viewing screen is brighter than with many later SLRs. And of course, small, lightweight, beautifully designed and well build. The chrome parts are shining bright whereas the Spotmatic chrome is gray-dull. After all, the H series made the name PENTAX. PENTAX would be another company with another name without the H-series.
But today about 25-50% of the cameras will not work anymore with slow speeds (mirror sticks). Others as with most LEICA cloth shutters seviced every 15 years most PENTAX H cameras never seen a service in a lifetime! I read somewhere that the shutter of the whole H-series was designed for 20,000 exposures (500 films) where the spotmatic shutter was designed for 100,000 exp. I have six H-series cameras in my collection incl. 2 K's and 2 AP's, and four of them are fully working so I'm quite happy with this rate.
The early Pentax preset lenses are also wonderful compact gems. The rare Sonnar type 58/2.0 creates a wonderful bokeh and is a great portrait lens. There is just one lens I'm looking for to complete, that's the preset 55/1.8 (same formular as the "zebra" 55/1.8 K- lens)
