For you Black & White BULK junkies, Merry Christmas, I did a price comparison between B&H and Adorama on Bulk 100' B&W 35mm film.
Hope you enjoy!
This one took about 25 minutes to do, not like the last one I did in the other post. But it is fun, as I like doing this sometimes!

In Montreal (Canada), I found strange prices at L. L. Lozeau. Tri-X was cheaper than HP5! Tri-X at 47$CAN and HP5 at 57$CAN. Go figure!

Thanks Mark
I just got two used bulk film loaders yesterday, along wiht some canisters- so I'm in the mood to load up... mmmm HP5.
Have any of you worked with Arista 400 or 50? Each of the two loaders came with some old film in them- I'll shoot it and see how that stuff works out, just wondering if anyone has any comments on those two films?

Arista Pro 50 is Ilford PanF+. I'm not sure which Arista 400 you're talking about? Is it the Arista II 400, which I think is AGFA APX400. The edu and edu.ultra line are Forte and Foma respectively.

I think those prices are high. If you use 100ISO you can still get Agfa APX 100 on eBay for $25/100 ft roll.

AirTimid,
The Arista 400 thats in the loader is from 1997- so it must be the original version of Arista400. Is that the stuff that is supposed to be Illford HP5?

I love B & H and Adorama, but don't forget Freestyle. They generally have some good film deals too. All my B&W is bulk.

I've read a number of posts here, on photo.net and on APUG that Fomapan 100 is the nearest thing available to Agfapan 100. All the posts were positive.gumanow said:[snip] is Fomapan any good? I was about to buy some 100 or 200 this evening. Anyone look try these films?
