Hi all, not sure if I'm posting in the right place,it is Russian I think. My Blik was off focus, very little on the web about calibration but I did find something about undoing the shoe and using the two little screws. Now I managed to get infinity lined up but short distances are still off. For instance, measuring something 6 or 7 feet gives a reading of 1.7 metres. I'm wondering what the third screw is for, the piece on the web I saw mentioned not touching it,but no reason was giving, anyone here any info on it or the Blik in general?

Asked the same 5 or 6 years ago, no result. Would be happy if you could find something out.

6 years it was. Unfortunately that instructions didn't help.

It should be in some later books, not Maizenbeg's one.
I'll check, but can do it only on Thursday and google it in Russian as well.

I cannot be any help specifically with regard to the Blik, sorry. But with any camera that I was checking, if I thought infinity focus was good, but the close focus accuracy was off then, the first thing I would do is double check the infinity adjustment. You may find it is not nearly as accurate as you expected. In a recent post about four weeks ago, (dealing with a Rolleiflex in the Repair subforum) I touch on some ways to accurately assess infinity focus of a lens.
Cheers

I was able to find two (similar) methods to calibrate. It is done at 1.5 m, infinity to verify only.
All three screws are involved. With two of them used for calibration.
