(Could have swore I posted this yesterday)

I had seen a large group of Monarch butterflies on the Blue Ridge Parkway in southern Roanoke County just as I ran out of film. Went back up the next day, but they had left the area with the previous nights weather front. But not one to waste a beautiful day in the mountains, I made the best of it.

Thanks for posting the images. This is one of the beautiful places in the USA. I started getting into photography as a hobby there.
 
Looked nice watching the slide show on flickr. Colors are a couple of weeks away here in the lowlands. Boone area is at peak but don't have the extra cash for a trip to the mountains right now so I'll wait a bit longer.
