Actually I've done this [print black only on glossy paper, that is] on my lowly Epson R200 with Epson ink and the results were quite good, apart from a slightly blueish cast but since MIS is currently supporting the R200, I'm thinking of taking a plunge into a one ink CFS. Two questions however:
- Has anybody here tried printing BO on glossy with Eboni? The guys at MIS don't recommend this but I wonder why.
- Has anybody tried Photo Black for BO? This ink is in turn recommended for glossy papers but I haven't found any info on how it behaves when used as the only ink.
Any notes, remarks, ideas will be greatly approciated. Maciek
PS. The only sensible papers available in Poland are Ilford, Epson [not the Enhanced Matte though] and Tetenal, so I'd be using one of theirs. Which one do you find the best, BTW?
