I hadn't thought of that: Value of an 8-year old X100 may not be enough to make that worthwhile, but still, it bears consideration. Yes, I'm quite glad it wasn't the Leica Monochrom (but wait, I don't have one of those, do I?)
Its ok, really. I've still got film in my bag.
Hopefully you have replacement coverage. If you do the insurance company will buy you a new one (minus your deductible).

I agree with the suggestion of just coming to terms with its loss, try to salvage it with rice, but start looking for a S or T. You might be able to get a little money for it as parts on ebay once its dry.
