Maybe it is not a bokeh-king like the Dallmeyer Super Six 2'' f/1.9 but the rangefinder Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 certainly delivers a nice dreamy image from time to time.

Hmmm, here's one of my faves. The Petri Orikkor 2/50 in M42 mount. It seems only available for one year, and of a design which is entirely unique among 50mm lenses. It has a tendency to sparkly/double-lined boke' like some of the Meyer lenses, as well it can produce strange rainbow color flares even in low light. But very sharp. Possibly the weirdest lens in my collection.

I listed a Super-Six on eBay ten days ago as part of a collection I was asked to sell, and much to my surprise it's gone absolutely mental, it is almost at AUS $20k now, and not done yet. I'm astounded.

Thanks for sharing that video, Erik! Mr. Jeffo Wong has his own thread here on RFF called Playing old cine lenses on Leica, shooting many of the old cine lenses in his collection. Some wild and unique bokeh!

Thanks, Erik. Crazy stuff. The owner ought to be pretty happy with that, I think. Unfortunately, I don't get to keep it all myself. I'm astonished it fetched very nearly $24k Aussie dollars.
