OK, we have 12 good suggestions from the OTHER THREAD (which just happens to be the maximum number of options for an RFF poll). So I am going to go ahead and open up this thread in which we will choose the first book for the new RFF book club. All are welcome. But please vote in the poll only if you intend to participate in the book club (in case you missed the first thread, you can read about the book club HERE).
I will close the voting at 10pm (Ottawa, Canada time) on Wednesday evening.
After that, we will give ourselves two weeks to get and read the chosen book. So discussions will begin on Wednesday, July 4th.

Bump! The thread will stay open until tomorrow evening, just to ensure that everyone who wants to join has the opportunity to do so.
I should also reiterate that I envision the book club as an ongoing feature. So, books that are not chosen this time can be re-nominated the next time around.

I'm open for anything. I'll be reading this and the Harry Potter books at the same time, so hopefully I don't get the two mixed up.
