I had some pictures posted in the gallery that were taken with an SLR. Seeing that they were banned by new gallery rules I've removed them all. Being a member I don't think I'm out of line expressing my displeasure about said rules. But I will abide by them. Maybe when I get a body of work together taken with a rangefinder I'll start to post again. But you're not getting rid of me completly. I enjoy the forum anyway. It's a very supportive bunch here. Thanks

and we don't want to get rid of you jim!!

don't wait for a body of work, if you have some rf shots now, please post them.

as far as the slr stuff, keep in mind that we are an rf forum but we are also a photo forum and we are fine with the occasional non rf shot.

if people have digital the dslr forum might be a better fit, but there are no anti digital signs here.

hell, how could we keep selling and trading gear without a digi shot of our stuff?!

Jim,

Long story short, Jorge repealed the new rules and the old rules are in effect again.

To state it once again, this is a good and open-minded forum.

Hey Jim:)

Quick, now the "rules" have reverted to what they were, stick your pix back before anyone notices. :)

That was a regular can of wormlets that Jorge opened there. I was fearing that I wouldn't be able to post stuff shot with my 15mm SWH, whatever camera I used it on, seeing as it isn't RF coupled!

BTW, you don't need to get a "body" of work together. You can post as you go along y'know. :D

ManGo

ManGo,

"Leonard, k.d., & Christopher" . . . Hmmm  . . . Neil, Gordon, & Danny

Well, I have to admit I've been uneasy about the dozen or so SLR shots I uploaded to the Northwest Scenery Gallery, and have now removed them. Only fair, I think, as this IS the RFF.

Jim, that was the most courteous, respectful and elegant note of dissent I've read in my life.

Boy... these people ooze class! ;)
