Massachusetts Boston RFF Roll Call/Beer n' Gear?

Hey all, just wondering who's in the Boston area as I've just moved back after 5 years abroad. Haven't seen many film shooters out...

Anyone local interested in meeting up, either for some shooting (before it gets too cold) or a beer n' gear? I was thinking early/mid Nov before the Thanksgiving craziness starts up, but I'm flexible and openminded as to times.

Also if anyone wants to meet and go shooting on a weekday, PM me -- my schedule is pretty open these days.

Harry's usually on board, I'll send him an email. I can't do this weekend, but sometime before Thanksgiving should work.

A weekday lunch would be fine too if there aren't too many normally-scheduled folk wanting to join in.

Ben (Semordnilap) alerted me with an email. Love to join you, but I'll be returning home from rehab for knee replacement tomorrow (Sat.) As soon as possible, I'll be having the other one done as well. A few months out of commission, but still print making as usual.

I could try to do a weekend afternoon but it's not always easy. If folks want to meet at lunchtime on a weekday I could do that more easily, depending on the day, but I'll try to make a weekend if that's better for folks.

Harry, hopefully all goes well -- we all wish you a speed recovery.

I'll try and come up with a few candidates for it. There shouldn't be any timing issues this time around, as I'm back in Boston for the foreseeable future.

hey everyone -- apologies for disappearing. grad school applications are no fun. hope everyone is inside with a nice cup of coffee and a good book. i ventured out earlier with a camera to take some shots of the blizzard, but only had 6 shots left on the roll in my canon ivsb2, so i'll probably venture out again for another crack at the snowpocalypse shots. anyone else up for another beer & gear, shall we say sometime in early/mid feb?

I'd lean towards mid February, the first part of the month is a bit busy for me. I should be good after the 15th.

As promised, I've had the second knee replaced (8 Jan.,) and I'm recovering nicely. I'm not sure I can do mid Feb., but if I can, I'll be happy to join you folks.

Also, a couple of you are owed door-prize prints. You'll get another chance to make a claim.

Wow, I've never seen tumbleweed rolling along in the middle of a snowstorm before!!!

I'm happy to wait until Harry is up for it, considering it might just be the three of us, if that might mean end of February or the beginning of March?
