Massachusetts Boston RFF Roll Call/Beer n' Gear?

Roll-Call... I'm here! Delighted to join any meeting after March 1. (Hint: No snow down here.)

Harry, hope your knee is coming along well. I'm enjoying the print of yours I won in the first get together.

David, that lens is terrific, shooting with it today.

Best to all.

I don't know yet, but I was planning to briefly visit Boston after the snow storms end.

I'm down for whenever, so no reason it has to be a once-a-year thing. :) perhaps a "beer to keep the cold away" to tide us over, with another once the weather's less disagreeable celebrating Harry's welcome return/recovery.

Harry -- I'll try and have a file ready for you this time. I know the image I want to print, but the only scan I have is pretty low-resolution.

Anyone have a good scanner that can handle 120, or know where I could get it done for a reasonable price? The dev/scan rates here are absolute highway-robbery compared to Seoul. Argh

Ah, too bad, I sold my Epson v700 this summer. I still have the betterscanning inserts for 120, meaning to sell those too.

Enjoy the snow!

Harry, hopefully all goes well -- we all wish you a speed recovery.

I'll try and come up with a few candidates for it. There shouldn't be any timing issues this time around, as I'm back in Boston for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for all the good wishes. I had the second knee done on 8 Jan., and all is going according to schedule.

My advice to all is to take good care of your knees; rehab from knee replacement surgery is somewhat brutal.

I hope to attend the next meet up, where, as usual, there will be a door prize of a B&W archival print of the winner's choosing.

I'll also bring along, just for viewing, a bunch of archival prints of street scenes that I've done during my convalescence.

Glad you're recovering well Harry!

And I'll look forward to seeing those prints!

I think we're looking at early/mid march at this point... I hope you'll be up to speed by then. The MBTA, unfortunately, may not be...

I believe that the parking situation has been seriously compromised by all the snow that remains, and remains, and remains. Early March may be optimistic. But either way, I am now up to speed. I look forward to seeing some new faces.

Hey all. Weather is still a bit undecided, it seems, but spring is trying to poke through what's been a pretty aggressive winter...

Roll call for who would be interested/available, either for something small and casual during the week, or a bigger Beer n' Gear one upcoming weekend.

I'll be in Washington the second week of April (and will be relocating there at some point before the fall semester starts, as I've been accepted to a graduate program there), but otherwise my schedule is quite flexible.

July?

July?

We plan on being in Boston in July....a long way off, yes, but just thought I'd throw it out there. Welcome a chance to meet some RFF New Englandahs.

I've been living in Texas for many years but spent the first 21 in Dedham.

Hi all,

I just joined the site a few weeks back. I live just outside of Boston and I wanted to drop by the tread and say "hello".

pixelated, thanks for letting us know about the PHSNE show, I may check that out.

I also wanted to mention that I'm taking part in a photo walk up in Portsmouth, NH on May 15th. It's free but there are a limited number of spots: http://www.newenglandwalk.com/
