Bottom screw problem

As I'm waiting for Mr Zhou's half-case, I was using my original Leica case (with the top detached). When I tried to take the M2 from the case I noticed I had adjusted the bottom screw TOO hard, and I still can't unscrew it! Is there any chance that I ruined the bottom plate's tripod hole? Did I screw up? (no pun intended)

I'm taking it to the camera repair man tomorrow... :bang:
I can't wait for Mr Zhou's half-case.
